Zanbamon

A Demon Man Digimon which has the appearance of a horse-riding warrior. It is a courageous warrior who reigns as the general of the Musyamon corps. Although it is a general, it voluntarily stands at the head of its own army, and prefers fighting styles which cut into the enemy. Its lower half is fused with its horse in order to move more easily about the battlefield, so that even during a pitched battle it is able to swing its sword without losing its balance. Its Special Move is using the gigantic zanbato "Ryūzan-maru" it holds in its right hand to unleash its "Uchikubi Gokumon", which has the power to cut through the opponent's armor with its gigantic blade, regardless of whether they are defending themselves. Its "Jūmonji Giri" is an attack it unleashes using the youtou it holds in its left hand, which releases a shock wave, generated by the nimble swings of its slender blade, that can cut the opponent apart crosswise. Zanbamon was adopted from a winning Digimon entry in the "Bandai-Town FAX Service Digimon Illustration Contest" which belonged to Mr. Arata Hirayama from Chiba prefecture.

騎馬武者姿の魔人型デジモン。ムシャモン軍団の将軍として君臨している猛将である。将軍でありながら自ら軍団の先頭に立ち、敵に切り込んでいく戦い方を好む。下半身は戦場で動きやすいように馬と一体化しており、激しい戦闘でもバランスを崩すことなく刀を振るうことができる。必殺技は右手に持つ巨大な斬馬刀「龍斬丸」を使って繰り出す『打首獄門』で、たとえ相手が防御していようとも巨大な刀身で鎧ごと切り落とす威力を持っている。『十文字斬り』は左手に持つ妖刀を使って繰り出す技で、細身の刀身を素早く振りぬくことで発生する衝撃波を放ち、相手を十字に切り裂くことができる。※ザンバモンは「バンダイタウンFAXサービスデジモンイラストコンテスト」で千葉県「平山新」さんのデジモンが入賞し、採用されたものです。
